Bring Us Your Produce Net Bags

We have partnered with Martha’s Passions, a small, woman-owned business based in Southern Vermont, to support the upcycling of produce mesh bags. We sell Martha’s creations: cute little kitchen scrubbies that she makes by hand from the netting. 

You’ll see a small, green wooden box mounted to one of the columns in the Produce department. Please feel free to donate mesh bags from your produce purchases by putting them in this box! We will also do our best to label products that are packaged in accepted bags.

The bags need to be “heat-sealed fusion edges” because they can’t unravel when they’re cut.

• One-Bite potato bags

NO

• “Halo” or “Cutie” Clementine bags (they unravel when cut because they are not heat-sealed)
