We always have fresh-brewed self-serve coffee for your travel mug or to enjoy in our café. We feature Mocha Joe’s (local), Equal Exchange (organic and fair trade), Fogbuster by Pierce Brothers (local and organic), and decadent decaf. There is a variety of single-bag hot tea choices. You can also order Hot Chocolate and chai at the sandwich counter. The Coffee Bar is open Monday - Saturday from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Grab & Go Prepared Foods
We stock the “Grab & Go” cases with house-made, flavorful, and freshly prepared foods. There are daily standards from salad to dessert. You will find ready-to-eat deli salads and slaws, sushi, wraps, sandwiches, and more. Grab & Go items are available during all regular store hours while supplies last.

Many baked goods are made fresh daily in the Co-op’s Commissary kitchen, including vegan carrot cake, scones, turnovers, muffins, and cookies. We offer various vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Baked goods are available during all regular store hours while supplies last.
Brick-Oven Pizza
Our brick oven pizzas are handmade at the Co-op, and the crust is 98% local to Vermont. Many of the sauces on the pizzas are made from scratch right in our commissary kitchen. Pizza Hours — • Breakfast Pizza: Monday - Saturday 8:00 am - 10:00 am, and Sunday 9:00 am - 11:00 am
• All other Pizza: Monday - Saturday 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

Fresh Take-Out Rotisserie Chicken
Humanely raised and free of antibiotics and hormones, these birds are roasted in-house twice daily. Roast Chickens are put out daily at 11:30 am and 3:30 pm

The Deli here at the Co-op is a very special destination. We’re rooted in the local downtown community and depended on by tourists, founding Co-op owners, and everyone in between, including our own team members across the store, for delicious nourishment. The coop is a keystone of this town. I love how i can get a simple, fairly low cost meal, or splurge on fancy stuff, or whatever. It’s a great place and I can’t imagine Brattleboro without it.
Large food co-op with extensive variety of natural, organic, and healthy food and house hold goods. Features many local products and have fantastic specialty departments- my favorite being the cheese and deli.
I am happy to have finally gone here after driving by it so often. This is a must see local staple. The staff here were very friendly and helpful when I interacted with them. The parking situation is easy but even the closest parking spots are like 50 yards away from the main entrance due to how the area is designed. I was able to get many different local coffee beans from the selection they had. I am looking forward to going back again soon!
The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is Fun, there’s lots of prepared food and you can eat there. Also, people are very friendly and you can meet dozens of people you know.
I admire the Co-op 7 Cooperative Principles. The Brattleboro Food Co-op is a community of good people who aspire to bring us fresh, good, tasty food. There are high quality vitamins, cards, kitchen items, clothes, and cosmetics.I love my experiences at the Co-op.
For anyone who likes to cook, or just is mindful of the environment, The Food Co-op's Bulk Dept. is a Godsend. How many jars of old spices, minus 2 or 3 tablespoons, has the average chef had to toss on a regular basis - while the Bulk Dept. offers superb, fresh and plentiful spices, teas and often hard-to-find herbs in thrifty abundance, with the convenience of "bespoke" custom packaging, allowing access to excellent ingredients in the quantity needed for individual dishes.
