Help us congratulate the newly appointed member to the BFC Board of Directors, Shanta Lee Gander.
The Board of Directors voted unanimously last night to appoint Shanta Lee Gander to the Board to fill the remaining two years of Grace Koch’s term (Grace moved out of the area last fall).
The entire Board of Directors is delighted to have such a talented and amazing community member be a part of steering the direction of the Brattleboro Food Co-o. The Co-op Board includes Jerelyn Wilson (President), Judy Fink (Vice President), Denise Glover (Secretary), Tamara Stenn (Treasurer), Beth Neher, Mark Adams, Steffen Gillom, Joe Giancarlo, Shanta Lee Gander. All are looking forward to a year of inspiring work in our community!
About Producer of The Month
Each month we focus on identifying a local producer to feature in our monthly newsletter, Food for Thought and in-store. We conduct an in-depth interview, and feature photos, creating an article that reaches over 9,000 shareholders. We invite the producer to the Co-op to show off their wares through a demonstration or a tasting. We promote the producer and event through print materials as well as our website, Facebook, and Instagram advertising. This program is central to our cooperatively owned business.
