Since launching our Round Up for Change program in November of 2020 we have gathered over $70,000 donated by our community to local nonprofits. Powerful local organizations such as SUSU commUNITY Farm, Women’s Freedom Center, Food Connects’ Farm to School Program and Groundworks Collaborative, to name a few, have enjoyed the generosity of our community.  All of us at the Co-op feel tremendous joy and gratitude from these contributions. It fills our heart to know that we can act as a financial engine that can support the funding of so many important local organizations. Due to this success, we have also experienced a tremendous amount of requests by non-profits to be featured on Round Up for Change. Instead of delaying organizations for as many as three years to be featured in the program, we have decided to move forward with a change: two organizations will be featured starting in January. The organizations will split the total community contribution evenly. In January we will feature The AIDS Project of Southern VT and Garland School. We will provide more details on these organizations in the New Year. For now we are deeply thankful for all of you community members that have made this program a massive success.
