“If our history has shown us anything, it is that when our communities face extreme inequality, division, and uncertainty, the co-operative movement has offered an alternative that empowers people to meet their shared needs and aspirations.”
– Erbin Crowell, Executive Director of the Neighboring Food Co-op Association and keynote speaker at this year’s Annual Shareholder Meeting.
How much of each dollar that you spend at the Co-op stays in our community? How is our Co-op addressing food insecurity? How are we an environmentally sustainable and regenerative business? How can you earn a discount at the Co-op by volunteering in the community?
Join us at the Brattleboro Food Co-op’s 2025 Annual Shareholder Meeting on Monday, September 29, from 5 to 7 pm at the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center.
We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary with inspired food, a cash bar, giveaway prizes, info stations highlighting our Co-op’s impact, and a keynote speaker, all centered on the relevance of cooperatives in challenging times.
Our Board President, Board Treasurer, Interim GM, and Shareholder Services, Education and Outreach, and Sustainability staff will all be on hand to answer your questions and share how your Co-op is making a difference.
