On Saturday, June 14th, Brattleboro Food Co-op hosted a Commitment to Community Fair as a way to highlight the wonderful nonprofit organizations we work with as part of our Commitment to Community Program. Four of our over thirty Community Partners joined us for this event.
To help you get to know each of these organizations better, we stopped by each table to ask them “What’s something you wish more people knew about your organization?” And, since we know that one of the most difficult parts of volunteering in the community is knowing where to start, we put together a list of the many ways you can help and how much time each of these organizations ask of their volunteers– starting at only half an hour!
