Important Update: Temporary Disruption in Deliveries

Marketing & Community Relations Manager

Hi all,

Due to a nationwide system outage affecting one of our major distributors, some of our usual deliveries have been delayed, and some items may be temporarily out of stock in the coming days. We are actively working with local suppliers to source key products while our distributor works to restore normal operations.

This is a time when local and regional producers and distributors can really shine, along with our buyers, who are working extra hard to make sure we are providing what you need! We are lucky to have a strong regional food system and such knowledgeable staff.

In the meantime, our national network of co-ops is collaborating with the distributor to prioritize deliveries to co-op stores like ours. We’re doing everything we can to restock affected items as quickly as possible, and we’ll continue to keep you updated as we learn more.

As a Co-op shopper, it may be tempting to stock up on certain products, and so we’ve proactively decided not to hold or set aside items for individual customers—it puts too much extra strain on our staff, and would exacerbate the issue at hand. Thank you for your understanding on this point.

We’re confident this is a temporary issue. Things will be back to normal before you know it, and we are operating as usual in the meantime.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate this. We will update you as the situation evolves!
