Brattleboro’s hometown coffee roaster, Mocha Joe’s, has been caffeinating the community for more than 30 years.

Pierre and Ellen Capy opened the Main Street cafe in 1991 and began roasting shortly thereafter.

Mocha Joe’s has grown into Southern Vermont’s largest coffee roaster, and the Brattleboro Co-op was their first wholesale account!

Mocha Joe’s is Vermont’s first 100% Solar-Powered coffee roaster.

They offer single-origin, specialty arabica coffees from around the world, with a focus on Organic, Fair-Trade, Environmentally Friendly, and Economically Equitable coffees.
