Pie and Tart Festival
Last year’s Pie & Tart Festival brought people from all across New England to the Brattleboro Food Co-op to enjoy pies of all kinds! Join us this year for another pie extravaganza to celebrate home bakers, our Brattleboro Food Co-op bakers, and, of course, pie!
On August 16th, our Café will be full of pies, free for the tasting. There will be berry pies, apple pies, meat pies, savory pies, and whatever type of pie you’d like to bring. Get creative for our pie baking competition and you could win a $25 gift certificate to King Arthur Baking Company!
Pie Fest attendees will taste and vote on their favorite pies to crown the People’s Choice winner, who will receive a $25 King Arthur Baking Company Gift Certificate. That’s not the only pie prize! EVERY baker who enters a pie into the competition will be entered into a drawing for another $25 gift certificate and a few other prizes from the Co-op. The People’s Choice winner will not be eligible for additional prizes. We want as many people as possible to experience pie joy and we thank you in advance for understanding.
Voting will close at 1pm (attendees are welcome to continue eating pie after voting closes) and prize winners will be announced at 1:15pm.
