Did you know that US winemakers are allowed to add any of sixty different additives to their wines, without any indication on the label? Happily, the Co-op carries wonderful natural wines, which are produced without additives, using the yeast found on the grapes as they grow in the vineyard. We might be biased, but we think that, like Parish Hill Creamery’s wild cheeses, they taste even better than wines produced with commercial yeasts. Stop by the BFC Beer and Wine Department to try three different natural wines, sample some phenomenal cheese, and vote on your favorites.
