Update on Dottie’s Closure in December

Dottie’s Discount Foods Closing its Doors 

We anticipated closing Dottie’s Discount Foods at the end of December, but things are moving faster than we thought. Due to selling through the remainder of our inventory ahead of schedule, we will be closing Dottie’s at 6 pm on December 15th. 

Please know that new affordable food items in 52 categories are now being stocked at the Co-op. This includes staple items such as bread, milk, eggs, butter, peanut butter, fruits, vegetables, cheese, frozen food and meat.  Across the Brattleboro Food Co-op we have labelled these products with Dottie’s Discount Food signs and colorful shelf strips. 

We know that Dottie’s has been a staple of our community for over 10 years now. This was not an easy decision and we will continue to seek more ways to offer affordable food options at the Co-op.
