  • 12 eggs
  • Natural Egg Dye Kit
  • 4 tsp white vinegar
  • Optional: String, Beeswax
  1. Place eggs in a large pot of water. Cover and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
  2. If desired for a unique pattern, tie pieces of string around each egg a few times. Another option is to color a simple design (stripes, polka dots) on each egg using beeswax.
  3. Combine each dye with ½ cup boiling water and 1 teaspoon white vinegar.
  4. Place one egg in each jar for a first bath. Leave in 5-20 minutes. Repeat with remaining eggs.
  5. Pour dyes into muffin tin cups, combining colors if desired. Place eggs in the cup to dye one end only. Leave in 5-20 minutes.
  6. Rotate eggs if desired to dye the other end. Leave in 5-20 minutes.
