In Melissa Boyles’ work with new mothers, she understands that when families are well nourished, communities thrive. She taught a chicken soup class in January, and our kitchen staff helped gobble up the leftovers. Our director of food services asked, “Who made this soup? What is her background?” Safe to say he loved it. Now, Melissa is back, to teach the same recipe to the young chefs at Brattleboro Food Co-op! Each family will work together to create a delicious small pot of soup.
