Do you love eating tamales over the holidays? Never had a tamale? This class is for everyone! Co-op educator Lisa will guide students in making traditional Tamal Dough, prepared with fresh ground masa from a tortilleria (in this case, from Mi Tierra in Greenfield, MA). Then, students will fill corn husks with tamal dough and two filling options: Pork Tamales Rojos and Roasted Chiles & Cheese (vegetarian). There will be tamales to try and everyone will take the tamales they make to steam at home.
