EBT Online Purchases Terms and Conditions for Brattleboro Food Co-op
Eligibility: EBT online purchases are available to individuals who qualify for and hold valid Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards issued by the relevant government agency.
Authorized Purchases: EBT cards may be used for the online purchase of eligible food items as defined by the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). These eligible items typically include a variety of food products such as fruits, vegetables, dairy, bread, cereals, and other essential food items.
Excluded Items: EBT benefits cannot be used to purchase alcoholic beverages. Any attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages using EBT benefits will result in the transaction being declined.
Order Confirmation and Receipt: Customers will receive an order confirmation email upon successful submission of their order. A detailed receipt, including itemized charges and payment information, will be provided upon delivery or pickup of the order.
Payment Authorization: By selecting the EBT payment option and providing EBT card information, the customer authorizes Brattleboro Food Co-op to process the payment for the total amount of eligible purchases using their EBT benefits.
Online Ordering Process: Customers may place orders online through the Brattleboro Food Co-op website or designated online platform. During the checkout process, customers will be prompted to select the EBT payment option and provide their EBT card information.
Cancellation and Refunds: Orders may be canceled or modified prior to the designated cutoff time for order processing. Refunds for canceled orders will be processed in accordance with Brattleboro Food Co-op’s refund policy.
Compliance with SNAP Regulations: Brattleboro Food Co-op is committed to compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines governing the SNAP program. Any misuse or fraudulent use of EBT benefits will be reported to the relevant authorities.
