DATE NIGHT COOKING AT THE CO-OP: SPARKLING CIDER AND APPS COOKING CLASS

Appetizers give us the opportunity to experiment with new flavors, and in this class, we will cook and sample some luxurious and healthy ways to prepare dinner — tapas style. Then we can all sample some of our creations with sparkling cider to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Bring a date, a bestie, or your favorite relative to this fun and foodie-fabulous evening. New Year’s Celebration Samplings at the Brattleboro Food Co-op

Join us at the Seafood Counter for a rare treat with Ducktrap River of Maine! Sample their amazing smoked seafood and take some home for your New Year’s Eve Celebration. Free Tasting: Cozy Jar Soup

MOVED TO WEDNESDAY THE 5th, 4 – 6 p.m.  Warm up with the “Cozy Jar” 32-Bean Soup, made with our own BFC sausage at the Brattleboro Co-op Demo Counter.

Christmas Tree Sale and Food Drive

On December 1st from 10am – 5pm, for every Christmas tree we sell we will donate $15 to the .  The trees are grown by family-owned in Springfield, VT.  Not interested in buying a tree?  Stop in and donate non-perishable food to the Groundworks Collaborative and the Project Feed the Thousands campaign.

Free Kids Holiday Pie-Making

In this special Thanksgiving week class, kids will learn how to make basic pie dough and then use it to bake apple or pumpkin pies to share with their family and friends. Everyone will leave with 2 mini pies and recipes. In the Brattleboro Food Co-op Cooking Classroom, Canal St. entrance, Monday, November 19, 1-2:30pm.  This class is free for all, but you must register: 802-246-2821 or Shareholders@BrattleboroFoodCoop.coop

CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL CO-OPS DAY!   //   JULY 7th 2018

On Saturday, July 7th, our Brattleboro Food Co-op will join co-ops around the world in celebrating International Co-ops Day, joining the United Nations (UN) and the International Co-operative Alliance in a commemoration held annually since 1923.  This year, at a time of dramatic change in the political and environmental climates and local economies, co-ops and credit unions are highlighting how their businesses offer a solution by contributing to more sustainable local communities.
