Free Kids Cooking Class! Fun Foods from Around the World: Lebanon
Sign the kids up for this fun class, where they will explore Lebanese food and culture as we cook hearty lentils into a soup. They will learn how to season them with traditional Mediterranean flavors: lemon, herbs, greens, and more. Each kid will prepare and season their own bowl of soup and have enough to bring some home to share with others.
Free Kids Cooking Class! Kids Summer in VT – Ice Cream, 2 Ways
This fun class for kids of all ages will celebrate the onset of Southern Vermont’s berry season by adding one these sweet treasures to some frozen creations. Strawberries will be the star of the BFC Cooking Classroom, where you will learn two methods of making ice cream: with rock salt, and by machine. Bring your muscles! You’ll need them to shake, turn, and twist, to make these mixtures — and then eat them up! Instructor: Lizi Rosenberg, BFC Education Outreach Coordinator.
