Homemade Vinaigrette

  | Recipes

There are lots of reasons to love this delicious dressing! First, flavor: the tastier your dressing is, the more salad you will want to eat. Second, convenience: this dressing takes only a couple of minutes to make. Third, health: The high-quality fats in salad dressing are optimal for supporting brain, heart, and joint health. In contrast, most commercially available dressings contain canola oil or soybean oil, which are usually made from genetically modified ingredients and are associated with inflammation. Fourth, it saves you money: When made with Field Day Olive Oil, this dressing costs around $8.50 a quart, which is cheaper than most of the conventional,commercially-available salad dressings that we sell at the co-op. Fifth, it helps create a world better world for us to live in: Instead of giving your money to multinational food corporations, support cooperatively-run businesses! Both Frontier and Riojana are worker-owned co-ops and employ fair trade practices. To your health!
