Ben from Esselon Coffee will be hosting a tasting of Ethiopia, Guatemala, and French Roast coffee. Sourcing fair-trade, organic, ethically responsible coffee, Esselon crafts small-batch lots on a vintage Gothot drum roaster. Esselon roasts coffee throughout the week to ensure the freshest, most dynamic coffee possible. Ben has a wealth of knowledge about coffee and is ready to show you how to make the perfect cup. Stop by to have a taste and learn his tricks of the trade!

Help us celebrate Coop Month! On Thursday, October 12th from 11:30 to 2:30, we will be hosting a tasting of Katalyst Kombucha. Artisan Beverage Cooperative’s mission is to produce the highest quality beverages possible taking into account the social and economic impacts of all decisions. Their many flavors (Concord Grape, Raspberry Lime, Ginger Devotion, Hopped, Bliss Berry, Schizandra Berry, Jasmine, and Green Lovin’) are really something special. Try them all and find your new favorite kombucha!

Dan Rosenberg founded Real Pickles in 2001 when he purchased 1,000 pounds of cucumbers from Chatmuga Farm, fermented them, and sold them at local stores. Over twenty years later and now a worker-owned cooperative employing over a dozen employees, Real Pickles remains true to its commitment to supporting local businesses. In fact, its vegetables are sourced from 8 family farms within 40 miles of the solar-powered pickling facility in Greenfield, MA. Lisa will be offering samples of delicious local kimchi on Friday, October 13th from 11:30-2:30 p.m.

Little Lads Popcorn is based on a 25-year-old family recipe that began in a bakery in Maine. Maria created the recipe, and her son Orion is now making this same delicious popcorn for the next generation. He and his friend Arthur opened a production facility right here in Brattleboro, Vermont, where they have better access to distributors. This dynamic duo has replaced soybean oil with sunflower oil in the recipe and updated the packaging so the popcorn stays fresh longer. In their spare time, they also achieved a number of certifications for their popcorn (kosher, gluten-free, GMO-free, vegan, soy-free), which is a LOT of work.
