Whoo Knew is an in-store Co-op education program developed through team efforts at the Brattleboro Food Co-op. The idea began in 2015 when feedback showed staff and shoppers wanted facts, figures, and education about food products and the Co-op. We are fortunate enough to have fantastic artists on our team who took the idea and came up with the concept of “Whoo Knew” and paired it with their own hand-drawn owl. There was a contest to name the Whoo Knew mascot, and he now goes by the name, “Doctor Hoo.” Watch for Doctor Hoo‘s Whoo Knew signs while shopping to learn more about the products you are buying at the Co-op.
