Brattleboro Food Co-op Gift Cards

CHIP READERS – THE CHANGE HAPPENS OCTOBER 2nd!

Chip Reader Upgrade Will Happen Tuesday, October 2, 2018

To update our gift card and credit card processing, including chip readers, we cannot sell or process gift cards from 7 a.m. Tuesday, October 2nd through 9 p.m. Monday, October 8th.

You can make gift card transactions again starting Tuesday, October 9th.

  • Will the gift card down-time affect other payments types?
    • No. Credit/debit card, check, EBT and WIC processing will ALL continue normally during this time.
  • Why the upgrade?
    • This change allows you to use your chip card and we’ll be able to do WIC purchases at all registers as of October 3rd.
    • We will also have the ability to accept mobile payments. These upgrades will give you added security and convenience.
  • I have an old gift card from the Brattleboro Food Co-op. Will I still be able to use it?
    • Yes. Gift cards previously issued by us that have a balance will be redeemable after the upgrade.
We will transfer your balance onto a new gift card.
We are moving to a new gift card program; these new gift cards can be used for purchases only at the Brattleboro Food Co-op.
